1. About Staffly and these terms
These terms describe use of the Staffly application and its product website. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to the publisher above. The Privacy Policy explains information handling. The separate Staffly Pro Subscription Terms explain optional purchases. Applicable store terms also apply to downloads and purchases. Nothing here removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The application provides local workplace administration. The website provides information; it is not an online HR account, a remotely accessible workplace database or a purchasing portal. Features depend on the installed version, supported device and business configuration. Website descriptions of upcoming features are not a promise that they are already available.
2. Authority and workplace responsibilities
Use Staffly only where you have authority to manage the relevant workplace records or access your own permitted employee view. Businesses remain responsible for employee notices, lawful data use, workplace policies, retention and compliance with applicable employment, privacy, accounting and recordkeeping requirements. Installing the app does not establish employee consent or replace those responsibilities.
Provide accurate information and review important records and calculations before relying on them. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive details into notes or leave reasons. Keep administrator access limited to authorized people. Staffly does not verify the legal authority of the person holding an unlocked device.
3. Permitted use and restrictions
Subject to these terms and applicable store rules, you may use Staffly for authorized workplace administration and personal employee consultation. You may retain and share lawfully generated reports and print your authorized badge where your workplace permits it.
Do not use the app to impersonate an employee, record fraudulent attendance, obtain another person's records, bypass security or enrollment controls, distribute malicious files, infringe rights or perform unlawful monitoring. Do not present another person's badge as your own. Restrictions do not limit activities or rights expressly permitted by mandatory law. The publisher retains rights in Staffly's software, brand and website materials; workplace records remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable law.
4. Checkpoints, schedules and payroll limits
Compatible NFC cards and QR badges are identifiers, not proof of physical identity. Cards and static badges may be shared or copied. The business must choose appropriate supervision and review processes; Staffly does not provide facial recognition or continuous employee location tracking.
Administrators must review missed scans, open shifts, breaks, corrections and approved payable time. Attendance insights are advisory comparisons with configured schedules; they are not legal absence determinations or automatic authorization for deductions or overtime. Leave allowances and working rules are business-configured and do not establish statutory entitlements.
Payroll calculates gross wages and records payments already made. Staffly does not transfer salaries, calculate statutory taxes or contributions, file declarations or provide legal, tax or accounting advice. Businesses must verify results and arrange required deductions, filings and payments separately. Currency and timezone settings do not establish compliance with a country's payroll rules.
5. Local records, security and backups
The workplace device is the authority for local business records. Use an appropriate device lock, supported authentication or a Staffly PIN, and safeguard recovery information. Maintain current encrypted backups and keep their passwords separately. We cannot recover forgotten backup passwords or missing device-held keys, remotely unlock a workplace database or guarantee recovery after loss, uninstalling, clearing app storage or device damage.
Generated documents saved or shared outside Staffly become readable copies controlled by the destination or recipient. Application protection does not protect those external copies. Backups, reports, employee enrollments and subscriptions have different restoration requirements; consult the app's explanations before restoring or replacing a device. Security controls reduce risk but do not guarantee protection on a compromised or unattended unlocked device.
6. Optional employee access
Where released and enabled, an administrator can enroll an employee's personal device. Compare and confirm the connection codes on both devices. Employees may access only their permitted personal records and badge. Nearby refresh requires compatible devices, requested permissions, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi; foreground interaction may be needed. No router is required for the nearby transfer, but it is not a remote-home or guaranteed background service.
The personal device shows the latest successfully downloaded snapshot, not a live connection to the employer's records. Changes remain unavailable until a new synchronization succeeds. Review publication/download timestamps before relying on the view. Employee consultation does not submit leave requests or edit authoritative workplace records.
Revocation prevents future downloads but cannot remotely erase previously downloaded snapshots, saved badges or exported reports from an offline device. Businesses must explain permitted use and retention. Employees must protect their personal access and follow lawful workplace rules. Deleting or disconnecting a personal copy does not delete the employer's records.
7. Free use, advertising and Staffly Pro
Implemented core HR features are available without a Pro subscription. The free business app may contain advertisements. Pro removes Staffly's ad placements while eligibility is active and verified; employee mode does not initialize the app's ad or subscription services. Prices, renewal, cancellation, refunds and restoration are governed by the Subscription Terms and applicable store information. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
8. Compatibility, availability and changes
Core HR functions operate locally without internet. Downloads, updates, advertisements, purchases and subscription verification require connectivity. Hardware, operating-system permissions and third-party services can affect optional features. Android is the currently promoted release platform; no iPhone release date is promised.
We may improve or change the app and website. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent support for every device. Where applicable law or a paid subscription requires notice or remedies for material changes, those requirements remain applicable. New versions may require a review of workplace settings and backups before installation. Website links to third-party services do not place those services under our control.
9. Problems, responsibility and mandatory rights
Stop relying on a disputed calculation or incomplete record until it has been reviewed. Contact support with the app version, device details and a description of the issue; redact employee information. Do not send PINs, recovery codes, device keys or backup passwords.
Staffly is a practical administration tool, and businesses remain responsible for their decisions and legally required checks. We do not guarantee that every calculation is suitable for every employment arrangement or jurisdiction. Any limits on responsibility apply only to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or replace mandatory consumer protections with a blanket disclaimer.
10. Changes, questions and applicable rights
Revised terms will show an updated date. We will provide any notice or obtain any agreement required by applicable law for material changes; continued use alone does not waive mandatory rights. The publisher is based in Algeria. These terms do not select an exclusive court or displace mandatory protections that apply to you in another jurisdiction.
